When you collaborate with Mika, you retain full ownership and copyright of your original artwork. Always. What you grant Mika is a limited, non-exclusive license to reproduce your design on ceramic tile coasters only. Nothing more.
Mika will never use your artwork on any other product, in any other medium, or for any other purpose without a separate written agreement.
Mika produces all coasters in Vietnam using an 8-color ceramic printing system — LcLmCMYK — which includes light cyan and light magenta. Standard CMYK printing cannot reproduce these tones. Yours can.
Soft watercolor gradients, layered pastels, delicate naturalistic palettes — our system was built for this. Your color palette is safe with us.
Before any product goes live, we send you a finished set to review and approve. Nothing ships to customers without your sign-off.
Every collaboration begins with 5 sets sent to you at no cost. Keep them, use them for content, or sell them independently — however you choose.

We offer two compensation models. Choose the one that fits how you work and what you value.
A flat fee agreed before production begins. Paid once, regardless of sales. Best for artists who prefer certainty.
A percentage of every set sold, paid monthly. Scales with volume. Best for artists who believe in their audience.

Retail rights are acquired separately and not part of every collaboration. Mika will discuss this only when online sales justify it.
For established artists and legacy collections, Mika offers an open pricing arrangement. We share our base production cost. You set the retail price. Everything above our base is your margin.
This model is negotiated individually and is not a default option.
Every Mika artist receives a dedicated gallery page on mikagifts.com — a permanent, branded space with your portrait, story, collections, and a direct shop. This is not a generic product listing. It is your page.
This URL is yours to use anywhere — Instagram bio, Linktree, stories, reels. Every sale that comes through it is attributed to you automatically.
Mika does not require any content in exchange for the collaboration. If you choose to post, we ask only that you tag @mikacoasters. Format, timing, and tone are entirely yours.
Once your artwork files are delivered, Mika takes care of the rest. You focus on the work.
For established artists and legacy collections, Mika offers custom branded packaging — your name, your collaboration, printed on the box that ships to customers around the world.
This is a limited offering. Only a small number of collaborations reach this milestone, and spots are reserved for artists whose work has demonstrated lasting cultural significance within the Mika platform.
